Jacqui Bio

JACQUI PERKINS ~ MPT

Jacqui has been practicing physiotherapy since 2019 and has just recently moved to the Comox Valley. After growing up in the Lower Mainland, she moved to Cold Lake, Alberta to begin working as a physiotherapist for her husband's first military posting, but is now very excited to be back on the West Coast to work and help raise her family.

After growing up playing multiple sports, Jacqui continues to have a special interest in athletics. Her main focus as a teen and young adult was softball, which she played at the collegiate level at an NCAA Division 2 school and on the Canadian Junior Women’s National Team in 2010. Even though athletics have been an integral part of her life and are a key reason why she became involved in the physiotherapy field, Jacqui truly enjoys working with people of varying capabilities and of all ages. There is nothing more fulfilling than helping individuals feel better and work towards their goals!

In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoys working out, going for walks with her dog, husband, and toddler, and curling up to watch a good movie. After recently moving to Comox, she continues to enjoy getting out to explore the surrounding area and find new places to hike, grab a bite to eat, or sit down for a nice cup of coffee.

Education and training:

Jacqui graduated with a Master in Physiotherapy degree from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. She also has a Bachelor in Science degree in Biology from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She has completed additional training in vestibular rehab and pelvic health, and plans to take her dry needling course and advanced orthopedic levels in the near future.
