DIANNE AIKMAN ~ BSCPT
Dianne is passionate about helping clients achieve their physical goals. She uses a wide array of specific treatment tools including manual therapy, myofascial release techniques, individualized exercises, and craniosacral therapy. Ongoing learning is one of the things that Dianne loves about being a physiotherapist. She regularly updates her knowledge and skills through course work. Over the years, Dianne has volunteered as a physiotherapist for several events such as ski programs for the visually impaired, triathlons, the world wheelchair boccia championships, and as a classifier for para-equestrian events.
Dianne enjoys participating in many outdoor activities such as skiing, biking, kayaking, walking her dog, and recently dragonboat paddling. She also loves to read and knit.
Education & Training:
Dianne’s career as a physiotherapist started in 1986 as a graduate of UBC’s Rehabilitation Medicine program. She had previously completed a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education in 1983. During her career, Dianne has worked in diverse physiotherapy settings including orthopaedics, paediatrics, and working overseas for a few years.
